Delete Your Account
You can permanently delete your Artiva account directly from within the mobile app. Your account and personal data will be removed, while business records remain for compliance purposes.
How to Delete Your Account
- Open the Artiva app on your device
- Navigate to your Profile section
- Scroll down and tap 'Delete Account'
- Confirm your decision when prompted
- Your account will be permanently deleted immediately
What Data Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following personal data is permanently removed:
- Your account credentials and login information
- Your user profile and personal settings
- Your company membership and access rights
- All authentication and session data
Cloud Synchronized Data
If you have enabled cloud synchronization through a paid subscription, your synchronized data stored on our cloud servers will be permanently deleted along with your account. This includes all contacts, invoices, projects, and business records that were synced to the cloud.
What Data Is Retained
To maintain business continuity and comply with record-keeping requirements, the following data remains in the system:
- Business records you created (contacts, invoices, projects, expenses, assets)
- Records lose their association to your account but stay for audit purposes
- This ensures compliance with financial and tax record-keeping laws
Important Information
- Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
- You will immediately lose access to all companies and data in the app
- Business records remain for historical and compliance purposes
- If you need specific business records removed, delete them before deleting your account
Data Retention
Your account and personal data are deleted immediately with no retention period. Business records you created remain indefinitely for audit trails and legal compliance requirements.
Analytics and Third-Party Data
Artiva uses analytics services like PostHog to improve the app experience. When you delete your account, anonymized usage data may be retained in aggregate form for service improvement purposes only. No personally identifiable information is kept after account deletion.
